Lest We Forget

Lest We Forget. …
It humbles me every day to know how many men and women have served and continue to serve our country (and others) to ensure our way of life. I keep the poppy pins on my kitchen curtain.  We need to remember Every Day that sacrifices are being made to ensure our way of life and those around us.   At the ceremony, I am teary eyed throughout – so many losses to so many families, lives… many times over… cut mercilessly short.

There is never enough we can do for those who have served, their families who have spent time apart from their loved ones or family members they have lost.  Say a silent prayer for those families who have lost someone, give them strength and courage to go on.  Be proud of the men and women who give their lives and dedication to our country – to you.  Thank them by telling your politicians to take care of them … and the families.
